That is the most awesome photograph I expect to see in October 2009.
What an incredible photo!! The light on Frank's fur, the sky, the colors, even the expression on Frank's face and the pose: Wow! When I first saw the thumbnail of it on FB, I thought it was a painting.
Mother nature provided the sky. Frank's electrified look is simply the result of being blasted by the flash. The colors are almost as they appear in the original, with a slight increase in saturation levels to make the blue more blue.
