God, the hacking at night so you can't sleep is the worst!

Drink lots of water. It helped me anyway.

The virus which returns.
Worst cold I've ever seen and worst coughing I've ever heard.

I only got the "lite" version, but I had the Baywood Legionnaire's disease, so we're even.

I'll take this crud for a month over the Baywood bug for a day!!!

I thought I'd avoid it after I modeled my handwashing after Howard Hughes and bought an industrial-size container of Purel for the car.

I'm going on week five, or is it six. Like CPR I believe I got the lite version -- I was not bed-bound for days like some friends I've talked to. And my coughing (mostly "unproductive" as they say) has not been endless or painful. However the damned bug sapped my energy no end. Feeling somewhat better yesterday I ventured out for the Jazz Fest, but when I came home, and at an early hour, I was totally beat. Went straight to bed and slept nine hours.

It is not just Humboldt, but our weather is not good for healing. Wet, damp and cold this winter.

It's here too (Nevada). The S.O. currently is halfway thru the suffering. I'm wondering if I dodged the bullet, or it yet lurks around the corner for me??

Yep. Woke up yesterday morning with the apparent lite version of the cold. It's gotten a little worse today, but still pretty mild as far as colds are concerned.

I've caught more cold and flu this winter than I have in as long as I can remember.

When I lived down in the city, I knew a biker who swore that a fast ride to Tahoe would cure any cold.

So don't stay off that bike too long Jack!
