The best steak?
I nominate the AA Bar & Grill, located across the street from the courthouse in Eureka. Order a medium-rare ribeye, and you receive a perfectly cooked medium-rare ribeye.
Seems like a simple concept – take a good piece of meat and cook it right. But that doesn't happen at a lot of places.

I agree. Best steak in Humboldt County hands down.
Yep, best steak in town. Also, for lunch the burgers are tops!
AA is awesome for steak. But try one at the F Street Cafe and you might have a hard time deciding which is best.
I tried to go to the AA tonight with my family---under 21 not allowed. Oh well, Gallaghers was good.
Upon finding ourselves without minor accompaniment one Friday night, we finally remembered to try the AA after hearing about it for so long. Food was good and even the bar atmosphere wasn't bad. We'll go back.
Kym-My wife would argue whether to give Gallaghers an even "good" rating. She compares it to my perception of Applebee's, which is not good.
