Oh Christmas tree, Much pleasure dost thou bring me!
Kim was brave enough to come over to my love pad last night and consume a meal I cooked for her. She did so stoically.
We also decorated my plastic Christmas tree! This is kind of a big deal for me after a two-year hiatus from holiday decorating.
My apartment has a warm, fuzzy, homey feel to it – even more so with the tree.
I even got some battery powered Christmas lights for my bike!

May your season be bright... Looks like you're on your way.
Jack, I hope the lights on your bike are battery-operated because it would make me feel a lot better to see you riding around on it with Kim balanced on the handlebars singing dirty versions of Christmas carols at the top of your lungs. Just an idea.
It was so fun to meet you Saturday night.

Kym,
Happy holidays!

Yes, they're battery operated lights. I'll suggest your idea to Kim, who will almost certainly agree that this is a good plan.
Fun to meet you Saturday. Also, the art work is great!

Jack, Your bike would be a great addition to the electric light parade in Fortuna.
Ah yes, I would have known that had I read all the words.

P.S. Thanks!
Jack, your place is so cozy! Your tree is very festive, and so's your bike.
hi there!
this is going to be very RANDOM, but i had a question about one of your posts that was dated back in 2006 about your traffic ticket. lol
i just got a ticket for "not stopping" at a stop sign and so i want to do a trial by written declaration also.
i just got my ticket on sunday so i didn't get the courtesy notice yet.
i want to prepare the TBWD in advance b/c i too have OCD when it comes to these types of things cuz I just want to get it done and over with.
Alright, so my question is can I come into the court room once I get my courtesy notice, plead not guilty, and also hand in my completed TBWD to them the same day too?
When you plead not guilty, did you have to wait for a trial date for your arraignment, before you can submit anything, such as the TBWD?
Hopefully you can help.
I googled "stop sign tickets and trial by written declaration" and your blog was one of the options I clicked on.
I'm really trying to fight the power. This is my first ticket and yeah, you know the drill..
Thanks!!!=)

Whatever you do, DO NOT have your case heard in open court. You want the judge to review your case while he's sitting alone in chambers without any cops hanging around!
Also, the court clerks are your enemies. They will give you bad advice. Make sure you know what you're doing. Had I listened to the local clerks, I would have lost my case.
