Quake!
Everybody run around screaming!!!!
Earthquake at 10:57 p.m. Nice north-south jerk, back and forth a couple times. Desk lamp sways, maybe a half an inch or less side to side. Mini blinds gently sway. Animals quiet.
No disruption of utilities.
And so it goes here in McKinleyville near School Road and U.S Highway 101. And you?

Was asleep. Didn't feel it.
We felt a very sharp jolt here in "sunny" Cutten.

Mother Nature really rocked my world! Once I realized it wasn't my porky 24-pound cat on my bed, I heard the windchimes that hang INSIDE my room and perked right up. It rolled for a good 15 or 20 seconds here in town (Eureka). Our room is upstairs in our 100-year-old pier-and-post house that sways elegantly in a quake. I was surprised to find it was only 4.5 but I suppose being close explains it.
